By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Field measurement and verification
  • As-built CAD drawings
  • Matterport 3D scanning (digital twin creation)
  • Test fit layouts and space planning support
  • Furniture/equipment inventory documentation

All deliverables are provided for reference, planning, and coordination purposes only.

3. No Professional Engineering or Architectural Services

Field Metric 3D is not a licensed architectural or engineering firm.

  • We do not provide stamped drawings
  • We do not guarantee compliance with building codes
  • Our work must be reviewed by a licensed professional before permitting or construction

4. Accuracy & Limitations

While we strive for high accuracy using industry tools and methods:

  • Measurements are subject to site conditions and accessibility
  • Hidden conditions (behind walls, ceilings, floors) are not included
  • Minor discrepancies may exist

Client agrees that all drawings and data should be independently verified prior to construction or fabrication.

5. Client Responsibilities

To proceed with services, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate project information
  • Ensure safe and full access to the site
  • Identify any restricted or hazardous areas
  • Provide existing drawings if available

Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information may affect delivery timelines.

6. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates based on provided information
  • Final pricing may change after field verification or scope adjustments
  • Additional work beyond agreed scope will be billed accordingly

7. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking
  • Remaining balance due upon delivery of final files
  • Late payments may result in delayed release of deliverables

8. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Appointments are subject to confirmation
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, site conditions, or safety concerns
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee

9. Delivery of Work

Final deliverables may include:

  • PDF drawings
  • CAD files (DWG, etc.)
  • 3D scan links (Matterport)

Delivery timeline is typically 3–5 business days, depending on project scope.

10. Use of Deliverables

  • Deliverables are for Client use only
  • Files may not be resold, redistributed, or reused for other projects without written consent
  • We are not liable for misuse of provided documents

11. Limitation of Liability

Field Metric 3D shall not be liable for:

  • Construction errors
  • Permit rejections
  • Design decisions made by others
  • Damages resulting from reliance on our documents

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.

12. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services if:

  • Site conditions are unsafe
  • Requests fall outside our scope
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
